About Affiliate Product System
An independent research desk for expensive home and outdoor purchases, built on one rule: a claim we could not source does not publish.
What this site is
Affiliate Product System researches considered purchases: the kind of buying decision that involves thousands of dollars, weeks of doubt, and a dozen browser tabs. Backyard offices, architectural house plans, outdoor kitchens, and the other things people research for a month and own for a decade.
We are not a store. We do not manufacture anything, hold inventory, or process payments. When we recommend a product, the purchase happens on the merchant's own site, at the merchant's own price.
How we research
Every page starts from documents, not impressions: the merchant's own specifications, pricing and warranty terms, verified buyer reviews, owner discussions in public forums, and independent complaint records. Each claim on a page traces to a source we captured, with the date we captured it.
Our drafting system enforces this mechanically. A sentence that makes a claim without a source behind it is flagged in the draft and cannot be published until it is either sourced or cut. The number of unsourced claims on a page has to reach zero before the page goes live. We would rather publish a shorter page than a confident one.
We do not run a test lab, and you will not find the word tested on our pages. Where a hands-on publication has measured something, we cite them rather than pretending we did the measuring.
How this site makes money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the merchant pays us a commission. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not change what we write: commissions do not decide which products we cover, and merchants do not see pages before they publish.
The full picture is on our affiliate disclosure page. If anything on a page looks inconsistent with it, tell us: hello@affiliateproduct.systems.
Corrections
Prices, terms and availability change under every page like this. Each page shows when it was last updated, and when a reader or a merchant shows us something wrong, we correct the page and note the change. Write to hello@affiliateproduct.systems.
